Our Story

Founded in 2017 by visionary educator Grenee François, François Academy emerged from a deep passion for fostering young minds during their most formative years. What began as a small, dedicated team has grown into a recognized center of excellence in early childhood education.

Admissions Process

Simple Steps to Join Our François Academy Family

Schedule a Tour

Visit our facility, meet our staff, and see our classrooms in action during operating hours.

Complete Enrollment

Fill out enrollment application and emergency contact information forms.

Submit Documents

Provide immunization records, health statements, and required screenings before start date.

Pay Enrollment Fee

Initial fee: $50 per child or $75 per family (2+ children). Annual re-enrollment: $50.

Tuition & Fees

💳 Payment Schedule

Tuition due Friday for upcoming week. Payment options: weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Discount

$20 discount on tuition for second and additional children enrolled.

⏰ Late Pickup Fee

$1 per minute after 7:05 PM closing time.

Safety & Policies

Your Child's Safety and Wellbeing Are Our Top Priorities

🏥 Health & Wellness

Strict illness exclusion policies, fever-free requirements (24 hours), medication administration protocols, and comprehensive handwashing procedures throughout the day.

🍎 Nutrition Standards

Nutritious breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner included. Participate in food program. Accommodations for medical or religious dietary needs.

📺 Screen Time Policy

No screen time for children under 2 years. Limited to under 1 hour daily for older children, educational purposes only, aligned with curriculum.

👐 Positive Guidance

Redirection-based discipline. No physical punishment or harsh language. Focus on teaching self-control, appropriate behavior, and social-emotional development.

🚨 Emergency Preparedness

Monthly fire drills, quarterly severe weather drills. Evacuation plan to Cooper Elementary. Emergency contact procedures and first aid protocols.

🔒 Secure Check-In/Out

QR code sign-in system. Only authorized individuals may pick up children. Photo ID required for non-regular pickup persons. Staff trained in safety protocols.

François Academy operates in full compliance with Texas Minimum Standards for Childcare. Our most recent inspection report is available for review at our Family Information Center or contact the local licensing office at DFPS.
